Kristen O’Shea is a Geospatial Data Scientist that has worked on a wide-variety of environmental projects domestically & abroad. A versatilist at heart, she has mapped wild rice in the midwest US, developed restoration prioritization tools for coffee-landscapes in South America and Southeast Asia, explored biodiversity and ecosystem health in fashion commodity sourcing regions world-wide. Currently, she works to provide access and workflows for non-commercial users to integrate climate and remote sensing data into research/decision making as part of the Climate Engine team. She specializes in spatial analysis, data visualization, and capacity building that enables decision makers to make informed management and organizational decisions.
