Miriam Mabeya is currently volunteering with Women + in Geospatial as the Country Representative for Kenya and she is based in Nairobi. She has previously worked for Worldsview Technologies and Esri Eastern Africa and has 10 years of experience providing GIS solutions to customers in the Geospatial industry. She is also keen on applying geospatial skills in research particularly in Climate, Agriculture and Gender Issues and is a member of GECA Research Institute where she is participating in proposal writing.
She earned her Bachelors in Geography form Moi University in Kenya and a Masters in Geospatial Information Systems from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in Kenya.
