Tova Perlman

Tova Perlman holds a Bachelors in Art History from Brandeis University and a Masters from the University of Pennsylvania in Urban Spatial Analytics. She is passionate about using data science and analytics to influence decisions whether related to urban governance or climate change.

Tova participated in the Data Science for Social Good fellowship in 2021, where she worked with a team on mapping internet connectivity throughout the world.

She now works as a geospatial consultant for Motivf and is enjoying engaging with meaningful projects that use data driven methods to bring about positive change.

She is thrilled to represent WIG as one of two North American Regional Ambassadors. She is excited about planning events that create closer connections and help others gain both technical and domain specific knowledge. In her free time, she likes going on walks in her current residence of Philadelphia, writing fiction, and planning murder mystery parties.
